Heartstopper fans are still heartbroken over the cancellation of their favorite queer teen Netflix series, but the good news is that the series is getting the best kind of send-off: A whole Heartstopper movie, aka Heartstopper Forever, which is coming to Netflix tomorrow.
Directed by Wash Westmoreland (known for his collabs with his late husband, Richard Glatzer, on films like Still Alice), and written by Alice Oseman (who created and wrote the Heartstopper web series and graphic novel), Heartstopper Forever will act as the series finale of this beloved Netflix original. Stars Joe Locke and Kit Connor are once again back as Nick and Charlie, and their love is stronger than ever. But can it survive as the boys enter a new phase of their lives, as Charlie prepares to leave for university? Even for true love like this, long distance is hard.
Series regulars Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Tobie Donovan, Corrina Brown, and Kizzy Edgell are all back as Nick and Charlie’s group of queer friends. Anna Maxwell Martin joins the cast as Nick’s mother, replacing Oscar-winner Olivia Colman, who was likely too busy to return to the role.
We know that Heartstopper fans can’t wait to hear Nick and Charlie say “hi” to each other, so read on to find out when Heartstopper Forever will be on Netflix, including the Heartstopper Forever release time.
