Earlier this month, FOX released its primetime schedule for the upcoming fall season.
Monday nights will feature new episodes of Celebrity Name That Tune and Celebrity Weakest Link, while Thursdays include the Season 25 debut of Hell’s Kitchen and the fifth season premiere of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
Also, just a note for my fellow Gordon Ramsay fans: Kitchen Nightmares recently returned with new episodes! Was he forced to yell “shut it down!” during the season premiere? You bet. And he did it with relish (pun intended). You can watch the first two installments of Season 10 now on Hulu and Disney+.
One returning scripted show that’s on FOX’s recently released primetime schedule is Doc, the popular Molly Parker-led medical drama. When does Season 3 premiere? Here’s everything you need to know.
Has Doc Been Renewed For Season 3?
Yes! In March 2026, FOX renewed Doc for a 22-episode third season.
“Doc has become a true breakout for Fox, delivering our largest scripted multi-platform audience of the season and building remarkable momentum across Fox, Hulu, Netflix, and internationally — earning it another 22-episode order,” President of Fox Television Network Michael Thorn said in a statement. “That success is a testament to the exceptional creative leadership of Hank Steinberg and Barbie Kligman, our terrific partners at Sony, and the talented Molly Parker, whose deeply nuanced performance gives the series its soul.”
When Is The Doc Season 3 Release Date?
Tuesday nights once again belong to Dr. Amy Larsen! Doc returns on Tuesday, September 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET. The series will be preceded by the second season premiere of Best Medicine.
Who’s In The Cast of Doc Season 3?
It looks like Dr. Ben Grant is sticking around! Blair Underwood has been added as a series regular for Season 3, joining Molly Parker, Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Ecker, Anya Banerjee, and Patrick Walker.
Felicity Huffman won’t be back for a third season, and Charlotte Fountain-Jardim will no longer be a series regular (but is expected to appear as a guest star).
Where To Watch Seasons 1 and 2 of Doc Online:
Season 1 of Doc is currently streaming on Netflix, while the second season is available on Hulu, FOX One, and Disney+.
Disney+ offers a number of subscription options, so you can find the one that works for you. With ads, a subscription costs $11.99/month; without ads, it’s $18.99/month or $189.99/year.
There are also Disney+ bundles with Hulu, HBO Max, and ESPN+, so you can subscribe to up to three services at once and save over 40% every month. The bundles are available in a few different configurations, starting at $11.99/month for Disney+ and Hulu with ads, and going up to $32.99/month for Disney+, Hulu, and Max ad-free.

Will Doc Season 2 Be on Netflix?
As we mentioned above, the first season of Doc is currently on Netflix. While there’s no official information regarding the second season dropping on Netflix, we have an idea when new episodes could premiere on the streamer.
The first season of Doc concluded in March of 2025 and debuted on Netflix in September 2025. If the show follows a similar timeline, Doc Season 2 would premiere in September 2026 on Netflix.
