For six years, four seasons, and a spinoff series, Bridgerton has been delivering swoon-worthy love stories, period piece deliciousness, and some of the steamiest sex scenes to come out of a Netflix original … arguably ever.
The show, based on Julia Quinn‘s romance novels, follows eight tight-knit siblings in Regency-era England as they attempt to find love, all while a Gossip Girl-like columnist, Lady Whistledown, reports on all of the juicy happenings going on amid The Ton. With each season focusing on a different Bridgerton sibling, Season 4 shifts its attention to Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson)—second eldest son, art extraordinaire, and handsome rake—as he attempts to find his “Lady in Silver,” the mystery woman who caught his eye at his mother’s masquerade ball.
With a new love story, of course, comes more steamy scenes—and while Season 4 waits until the final episode of Part 1 to deliver its big one, there’s still plenty of content from past seasons to hold us over until Part 2 drops on Feb. 26. Keep reading for the nine sexiest moments from Bridgerton past, from Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope’s (Nicola Coughlan) carriage scene, to the entirety of Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon’s (Regé-Jean Page) honeymoon era.

Fingerbanging In The Stairwell
Photo: Netflix It only took four episodes to get there but in the Season 4, Part 1 finale, Benedict Bridgerton finally acts upon his desires for Sophie Baek — still completely oblivious that she’s the Lady in Silver that captured his attention at the masquerade ball so long before. While Sophie tries to suppress her feelings for Benedict to secure her future as an employee in the Bridgerton estate, she can’t help but melt into his arms when he comes searching for her in the servants’ quarters. With the house almost completely empty, there’s no better time for a secretive fingerbang in the stairwell than this one.

The Honeymoon Phase
Photo: Netflix Season 1, Episode 6 is one of the most famed episodes of Bridgerton — and arguably what got Netflix hornballs hooked on this seductive show in the first place! Entering their honeymoon phase, Simon and Daphne waste no time consummating their marriage in every room, ladder, and gazebo at the Duke’s countryside estate.

A Carriage Romp
Photo: Netflix Anyone who has read Julia Quinn’s books knows how important the carriage scene was to Season 3, Episode 4 — and Colin and Penelope’s love story as a whole. After confessing his love to Penelope in a horse-drawn carriage, the two lovebirds are intimate for the first time, leading Colin to finally pop the big question to his future bride.

Sex Under the Stars
Photo: Netflix Anthony and Kate’s slow-burn romance in Season 2 was one for the books. While they share a steamy kiss in the church after Anthony’s failed wedding to Kate’s younger sister, Edwina, they don’t actually get down to business until the end of Episode 7. In the gazebo, under the stars, Anthony and Kate strip down to practically nothing and surrender their bodies to each other, with Anthony pulling out all the moves as he goes down on his future wife.

Threesomes Galore!
Photo: Netflix Benedict Bridgerton’s days a rake might be over as of Jan. 29, 2026 — but that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about them. Before falling for Sophie Baek, Benedict—the free-spirited and artistic member of the Bridgerton family—tested the waters with threesomes in Season 3, making him the first (but certainly not the last) queer Bridgerton sibling.

Before There Was Kate, There Was Siena
Photo: Netflix Before Kate Sharma came along and wooed the Viscount, he was in a secret love affair with Siena, an opera singer of a different societal class. Throughout Season 1, these two shared many steamy moments, from hooking up in the woods to underneath the bleachers. While Anthony did care for Siena, she ultimately chose to be with a man who wasn’t afraid to be seen with her in the daylight, paving way for Anthony to end up with Kate the following season.

Scrub-a-Dub-Dub
Photo: Netflix We can’t forget about Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story! Like the flagship show, the spinoff series is just as steamy when it comes to a young Queen Charlotte and King George’s blossoming romance. In Episode 3, titled “Even Days,” Charlotte joins her husband in his bathtub — and things get hot and heavy real quick.

Lady Bridgerton Gets Her Groove Back!
Photo: Netflix Violet Bridgerton is finally getting her groove back in Season 4. After the show introduced Lord Marcus Anderson as the widowed mother’s potential love interest in Season 3, it takes until the last episode of Season 4, Part 1 for her to act upon her womanly desires. With some help from her staff, Violet sets up an intimate evening—in her bedroom—for the two of them. When Marcus wonders about the new location for their tea date, Violet responds, “I am the tea that you’re having.” And it’s not long until a bare butt is in frame.

Man (And Woman) In The Mirror
Photo: Netflix Another famous moment from Quinn’s book made it into Season 3, Episode 5. In the scene—which was long-awaited by #Polin stans—Colin strips Penelope down to nothing as they both stare into a mirror, making for one of Bridgerton’s most vulnerable sex scenes to date.
