That is, until he bumps his head and wakes up in a new reality where women are in charge and men are the ones subjected to sexism. In order to return to the regular world, Damien must fight systemic sexism by beating out Alex (Rosamund Pike), his former lackey, to become CEO of his ad agency. The comedy attempts to tackle gender politics in today’s day and age, but is it successful?

The new feature stars Theron as an adrenaline junkie who, after the loss of her husband, returns to the Australian outback for a solo trip that turns violent when she crosses paths with a serial killer (Egerton) who cons her into a cat-and-mouse chase through Wandarra National Park. DECIDER’s John Serba described this as a “classic Tight 90,” writing, “The film follows through on a fairly simple premise, jumping right to the action so we can quickly acclimate to its warm-to-hot temps, with Kormakur maintaining a level of velocity in the final hour that doesn’t allow the sweat to dry.”
