We’re heading to Madison Square Garden as the New York Knicks host the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 of the NBA Finals!
Everyone wants a ticket to the first NBA Finals game in “The World’s Most Famous Arena” since 1999. Donald Trump is set to become the first sitting U.S. president to attend an NBA Finals game tonight, with New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani and an assortment of high-profile celebrities also expected to be in attendance.
After taking both games in San Antonio, the Knicks have won 13 straight playoff games, the second-longest streak by any team in NBA playoff history. The 2017 Golden State Warriors squad won 15 in a row on their way to an NBA title.
Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks in Game 2 with 21 points and 13 rebounds, with Mikal Bridges adding 20 points, six assists, and six rebounds to help secure a memorable 105-104 win. A costly Victor Wembanyama turnover and missed shot in the final seconds led to the Knicks once again snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.
