What are we watching on Paramount+ this weekend, gang?
The fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds recently premiered on the streamer; the series finale of The Chi is now available; and new episodes of reality favorite Big Brother continue to drop on the platform. If you’re a Taylor Sheridan fan, Season 3 of Lioness debuts Sunday, August 2. But what about Landman?
It’s hard to believe that the last new episode of the beloved Billy Bob Thornton-led drama aired all the way back in January. Has the series been renewed for a third season? When exactly can you expect Landman Season 3 to drop on Paramount+? Here’s everything we know.
Is Landman Airing a New Episode Tonight on Paramount+ (July 26)?
Nope. Sadly, there’s no new episode of Landman this week. The show has been on hiatus ever since its Season 2 finale debuted on January 18, 2026.
Will Landman Be Back For Season 3?
Of course! The second season of Landman broke viewing records, which led to Paramount+ renewing the series for a third season in December 2025.
When Will Landman Season 3 Come Out?
That’s still TBD, but we do have some info that helps us narrow down a potential timeframe.
Seasons 1 and 2 of Landman premiered in November of 2024 and 2025, respectively, so we initially penciled in a November 2026 return date. Unfortunately, it looks like 2026 is a bit too optimistic for Season 3.
During a May 2026 appearance on Howie Mandel’s podcast, Tommy himself, series star Billy Bob Thornton, confirmed production was delayed until “the end of August,” which will obviously push the Season 3 release date. Production is currently scheduled to start in late August in Ft. Worth, Texas. While there’s no official release date, we expect Landman Season 3 to return in early 2027 on Paramount+.
