The first three episodes of Furious are now streaming on Hulu.
The new crime thriller series made its highly-anticipated debut on Monday, July 27, and fans are obsessed. Created by New Girl creator Elizabeth Meriwether, the series is inspired by the 1987 film Black Widow.
The plot follows FBI agent Alice Black (played by Emmy Rossum), who is tracking a female serial killer, Catherine (Lola Petticrew), who targets wealthy, abusive men. It’s a story of revenge, and the two play a game of cat-and-mouse. However, as their paths and past traumas start to intertwine, the line between right and wrong begins the blur.
The limited series stars Emmy Rossum, who is no stranger to intense story lines. She made her debut to the screen over two decades ago, and has since become a household staple. In addition to on screen acting, she has released music, and made her Off-Broadway debut in 2024 in Walden. Probably one of Emmy Rossum’s most iconic roles to date is Fiona Gallagher in Shameless.
