It looks like Hulu has a hit on its hands, and its name is Furious.
Created by Elizabeth Meriwether and inspired by the 1987 movie Black Widow, the buzzy new crime drama centers on an FBI agent — Alice Black, played by Emmy Rossum — who’s on the hunt for a mysterious and calculating female serial killer. Per Hulu, “both walk their own paths toward justice, and as their lives start to intertwine, the line between right and wrong begins to blur.”
The new series has a pitch-perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, with Joel Keller giving the show a “Stream It” recommendation on Decider. Rossum is joined by a slew of scene-stealers, including Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, and Jake Lacy.
