The NFL preseason officially kicks off on Thursday, August 6 with the 2026 Hall of Fame Game.
This year’s matchup features the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals as the NFL celebrates the careers of newly minted HOFers Larry Fitzgerald, Luke Kuechly, Drew Brees, Roger Craig, and Adam Vinatieri. If you’re looking for something to stream before the Hall of Fame Game, HBO’s beloved docuseries Hard Knocks is about to return with new episodes!
This year’s installment will follow the Seattle Seahawks, which is the first time the show is documenting the defending Super Bowl champions since the series first launched 25 years ago with the Baltimore Ravens. Following head coach Mike Macdonald, QB Sam Darnold, reigning Associated Press NFL Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and more, all the action will take place at Seattle’s training camp in Renton, Washington.
