It’s been nearly a year since Hulu‘s hit football series, Chad Powers, aired its eventful Season 1 finale. And fans are finally about to learn the fate of the South Georgia Catfish and star quarterback Russ Holliday/Chad Powers (Glen Powell).
Inspired by one of Eli Manning’s Eli’s Places segments on ESPN, Chad Powers Season 1 saw disgraced quarterback Russ Holliday pull a Mrs. Doubtfire, slap on a wig and facial prosthetics, and attempt to reclaim a college football career as wholesome player Chad Powers.
The Season 1 finale left viewers on an agonizing cliffhanger, with Chad and his crush, Coach Ricky (Perry Mattfeld), at odds after she learned his big secret. The Catfish had a make-or-break game to play. So do they win at Sanford Stadium? Do Russ/Chad and Ricky sort things out? Do Coach Hudson (Steve Zahn) and the rest of the world learn the truth about South Georgia’s star QB? And can Russ redeem himself in the end? Season 2 has answers!
