Can you believe it’s been over eight months since the last episode of Landman dropped on Paramount+? The second season concluded in January 2026, and many fans were hoping the show would stick to its most recent streaming schedule and return with new episodes in November 2026.
Unfortunately, that’s not going to be the case. Production on the upcoming third season has been repeatedly delayed, with Season 3 now scheduled to start production in September 2026. We originally believed that the immensely popular show could return at the end of 2026, but, sadly, that’s no longer the case.
What should you watch while you wait for Landman Season 3? Team Decider recommends Tulsa King (Paramount+), the brilliant Timothy Olyphant-led crime drama Justified (Hulu/Disney+), Sneaky Pete (Prime Video), and the star-studded 2015 thriller Bloodline (Netflix).
When can you expect new episodes of Landman to drop on Paramount+? Here’s the latest on the Landman Season 3 release date.
Has Landman Been Cancelled?
Nope. Landman isn’t going anywhere.
Will Landman Be Back For Season 3?
Of course! The second season of Landman broke streaming records, which led to a third season renewal in December 2025.
What’s The Latest on The Landman Season 3 Release Date?
There’s no official release date, but we have an idea of when to expect new episodes. Back in July, James Jordan, who plays Dale on Landman, told Us Weekly that production on Season 3 was slated to start in September and that the team would “shoot… through the first quarter of next year.”
Related, Jane Wiseman, the EVP and Head of Originals at Paramount+, recently told Deadline that Sheridan is still currently writing Landman. With production scheduled to shoot through early 2027, our best guess is that Landman Season 3 will debut in mid-to-late 2027 on Paramount+.
