Another day, another Liam Neeson action movie. The man is 74, but he will not quit! His latest, The Fix—which opens in movie theaters nationwide this weekend—tells the story of CIA operatives tasked with a dangerous rescue mission in Tehran at the end of the war in Afghanistan.
Directed by Guy Moshe, with a screenplay written by Moshe and Bacci, The Fix is based on an original idea from a former CIA Intelligence Special Operations Group Officer, Bazzel Baz (also an actor, best known for The Blacklist). So even though this movie is not based on a true story, it does come with some level of authority, and also likely some bias. Gotta get that military funding for your Hollywood movie, after all!
In addition to Neeson, The Fix cast includes Zachary Levi, and Elnaaz Norouzi, Annet Mahendru, Grant Harvey, and Augusto Aguilera. Previously, the film had been titled Hotel Tehran.
We know that Liam Neeson fans won’t want to miss out, but if you’d rather wait to watch this one at home, then read on to find out everything we know about when and where Liam Neeson’s The Fix movie will be available to watch on streaming.
Where to watch the Liam Neeson movie The Fix:
For now, The Fix will only be available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in theaters in the U.S. on Friday, September 11. You can find a showing near you via Fandango. The Fix is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.
Is Liam Neeson’s The Fix 2026 movie streaming on Netflix or Prime Video?
The Fix is not streaming on Netflix or Prime Video right now. While it’s possible The Fix may stream on Netflix someday, it won’t be until after the theatrical run and digital release of the movie. Stitch Head is not a Netflix original—it’s a small, independent film being distributed by Briarcliff Entertainment in the U.S. Another Briarcliff Entertainment movie, 2023’s The Hill, did eventually stream on Netflix, about five months after it opened in theaters, so it is possible you’ll see The Fix on Netflix someday. But many other Briarcliff Entertainment movies never streamed on Netflix. There’s not enough data for an accurate prediction at this time.
You will be able to purchase The Fix on Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital, but you will not be able to stream The Fix on Prime Video free with a Prime subscription, because it is not a Prime original movie. If you want to watch The Fix at home, you’ll have to wait for the film to be available to buy or rent on digital platforms.
When will the The Fix 2026 movie release on digital?
The Fix 2026 movie digital release date has not yet been announced. However, we can make an educated guess as to when we might see The Fix 2026 on video-on-demand, based on the digital release of previous films from this studio, Briarcliff Entertainment.
Another Briarcliff Entertainment movie, Good Luck Have Fun Don’t Die, was released on digital platforms about one month after opening in theaters. If The Fix follows a similar pattern, you might see the The Fix movie on video-on-demand in about one month, around the second week of October 2026. You’ll be able to buy or rent the film online at this time.
But this is all speculation. Digital releases vary by title. If you want to see the new Liam Neeson movie The Fix right away, you can catch the movie in a theater.
