Crew Girl has finally arrived on Netflix, and the cast of the new YA romance is ready to row their way into your heart.
Warning! Spoilers ahead for Crew Girl, now streaming on Netflix.
The eight-episode series follows Teagan Tao (Miku Martineau), a 16-year-old rower in Los Angeles, whose life is completely shaken up when her hotelier father (Byron Lawson) is exposed for defrauding his investors. When Teagan and her mother Ella (Jessica Paré) move back to Ella’s hometown of Eagle’s Cove, Massachusetts, adjustments await for the both of them—especially when Teagan discovers that her new school, Easton Prep, does not have a women’s crew team.
Fortunately, Teagan impresses Coach Matt Hayden (Thomas Cadrot), and ultimately bests the team’s current coxswain in a race to land the spot at the head of the boat. However, she must also win over her teammates.
